Mayor Celso Lobregat of Zamboanga City, in a latest show of antipathy and arrogance to Moros of Mindanao, has written a letter addressed to Senator and Senate President Manny Villar regarding his continuing resistance to the inclusion of the city or any part thereof and the entire Zamboanga Peninsula to the proposed Bangsamoro Juridical Entity (BJE) for the Bangsamoro people in Mindanao.

The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has called on to Secretary Ronaldo Puno of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) to refrain from interpreting too far and distort the real context of just settled three issues on governance on ancestral domain to suit to what he thinks as the right context, as this might spoil the gains of the talks.

Japanese official development assistance (ODA) for the ongoing peace process between the government and Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has gained ground, getting stronger and spurring difference in terms of community demand driven development approaches.
Recently, the Interim Study Report and Phase 2 Implementing Guidelines for the Socio-Economic Reconstruction and Development of Conflict Affected Areas in Mindanao (SERD-CAAM) were inked in Manila.

Dr. Danda N. Juanday (BDA)Cotabato City – Remain steadfast and hold on to our faith.
This was the call made by the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) to its communities who were once again plunged into a miserable situation brought about by the recent natural as well as man-made calamities. The appeal was conveyed by BDA Executive Director Dr. Danda N. Juanday to the flood-affected communites during the conduct of the Tabang Guligaw (Disaster Assistance) mission conducted in Barangay Biniruan, in this city.
