Mayor Celso Lobregat of Zamboanga City, in a latest show of antipathy and arrogance to Moros of Mindanao, has written a letter addressed to Senator and Senate President Manny Villar regarding his continuing resistance to the inclusion of the city or any part thereof and the entire Zamboanga Peninsula to the proposed Bangsamoro Juridical Entity (BJE) for the Bangsamoro people in Mindanao. Japanese official development assistance (ODA) for the ongoing peace process between the government and Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has gained ground, getting stronger and spurring difference in terms of community demand driven development approaches. This was the call made by the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) to its communities who were once again plunged into a miserable situation brought about by the recent natural as well as man-made calamities.
